Ultra-low-volume microdispensers
Precision non-contact dispensing from picoliter to low-microliter volumes for research, development and automated production. Our dispensing technologies provide precise and reproducible liquid deposition across a wide range of applications and liquid properties.
Picoliter microdispenser
AD-K Autopipettes
AD-K Autopipettes are high-performance ultra-low-volume picoliter microdispensers for precise dispensing in the 20 pl to 500 pl range, with a coefficient of variation (CV) ≤ 1%. Storage volumes ranging from 400 µl to 1 ml support both minimal sample consumption and dispensing without the need for the dispenser refilling.
The microdispenser is based on piezo-driven technology, with digitally controlled aspiration and droplet ejection, enabling fast, precise, and repeatable dispensing. Fully controlled droplet formation eliminates the occurrence of satellite droplets. The technology allows dispensing of difficult-to-dispense samples, such as proteins, nucleic acids, or living cells, and samples with high viscosity.
When integrated with the Gantry ECO, II-S, or II-P microdispensing systems, up to eight picoliter microdispensers can operate in parallel. The combination of microdispensing systems and AD-K Autopipettes is a perfect match for applications including assay development, screening, microarray printing, biosensor fabrication, lab-on-a-chip, or microfluidic workflows.
MD-K Micro dispenser heads
MD-K Micro dispenser heads are piezo-driven microdispensers designed for reliable non-contact dispensing of picoliter volumes starting at 20 pl, with a CV ≤ 1%. They support reservoir-based dispensing using storage volumes from 1 to 12 ml.
An integrated piezo actuator generates a precisely controlled pressure pulse that induces a shock wave in the dispensing head, which causes a droplet ejection from the nozzle. This mechanism ensures stable droplet formation and accurate volume control across varying dispensing applications.
The Gantry ECO, II-S, and II-P microdispensing systems allow the integration of up to four dispenser heads operating in parallel. Depending on the liquid properties, dispenser heads with nozzle heating are available, enabling the dispensing of liquids with viscosities of up to 1000 mPa·s. For demanding applications, the Microdrop High-Temperature Dispenser Head is available, allowing the nozzle tip, tubing, and reservoir to be heated up to 150 °C. This makes the MD-K platform perfectly suitable for temperature-sensitive or highly viscous liquids commonly used in industrial and materials-based processes.

Nanoliter to low microliter microdispenser
MJ-K NanoJet Dispenser
The MJ-K NanoJet Dispenser uses a miniaturized solenoid valve combined with a glass capillary nozzle (50–500 µm) for precise non-contact dispensing. Liquids are transported from reservoirs ranging from 1 to 12 mL to the dispensing head using air or gas pressure.
The design of the nozzle geometry provides laminar liquid flow, preventing atomization and restricting the dispensed liquid precisely to the target area.
Dispensed volume is controlled through a combination of pressure, valve opening time, nozzle diameter, and liquid viscosity, achieving an expected CV ≤ 1%.
The small head design of MJ-K NanoJet Dispensers is suitable for integration into existing systems, where space and flexibility are critical.
NanoJet Piezo Dispenser
NanoJet Piezo Dispenser, the dispenser for extremely high-viscous applications up to 2,000,000 mPa·s. The dispenser covers a broad dispensing range from 1 nL to 25 µL, with an expected CV ≤ 2%, and reservoir volumes between 10 and 25 mL.
A user-defined valve configuration, combined with a selectable range of nozzles, allows precise adjustment of droplet size and dispensing properties to match the expected printing results. NanoJet Piezo Dispensers are widely used across industries such as microelectronics, medical technology, and semiconductor manufacturing.
When integrated with the Gantry II S or II P microdispensing systems , up to four dispensers can be operated in parallel, delivering maximum flexibility and consistency in both R&D and production environments.
